The area is located at about 5km east of Oke-Agbe Akoko, the headquarters of North West Local Government area of Ondo state. The area can be accessed through Oke-Agbe Akoko. It can also be accessed through Irun AkokoandIsinbode-Ekiti in Ekiti East Local Government of Ekiti State. Accessibility within the area is good, as the entire area is dominated by thick vegetation.
The rocks of the area are mainy granites and various gneisses that occur as isolated hills and inselbergs which stand out against low-lying surroundings.
These rocks deposits are ubiquitous in almost every part of the area being investigated. They occur as plutons of Older Granites and gneisses.
Quartzite veins were identified mostly along road cuts within the area. To ascertain the mineralization of the area, more prospective method(s) vis-à-vis detailed geologic mapping.
